Dean Lewis Bio
Dean Lewis, born on the 21st of October 1989 in Sydney is an Australian singer and songwriter. Â Inspired to pursue music as a child watching the group Oasis, Lewis signed a contract with Island Records/ Universal Music Australia, releasing his debut song Waves in 2016, which was certified three times platinum and the song was featured internationally on television shows such as Riverdale, Suits, and Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments.
Releasing a second dingle, Need You Now and his debut EP Same Kind of Different in 2017, the song and the EP was a critical hit and received five ARIA Award nominations, Waves alone garnering three nominations. Lewis’ debut album is expected to be released during 2018 and is eagerly awaited in his native country.
