DeAndre Desmond Liggins was born on March 31, 1988 in Chicago, Illinois. He signed as a shooting guard for the Milwaukee Bucks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played in High School at Findlay Prep (Henderson, Nevada) and college at the University of Kentucky (2008–2011). He was the 53rd overall pick by Orlando Magic in the 2011 NBA.
He won the NBA D-League championship (2016), also NBA D-League Defensive Player of the Year twice(2014, 2016), All-NBA D-League Second Team twice (2014, 2016), NBA D-League All-Defensive First Team twice (2014, 2016) and NBA D-League All-Star twice (2014, 2016)
