Deathstars Bio
Deathstars is a band from Sweden. The band was formed in 2000 and its current members include guitarist/keyboardist Emil "Nightmare Industries" Nödtveidt, lead vocalist Andreas "Whiplasher Bernadotte" Bergh, bass guitarist/back vocalist Jonas "Skinny Disco" Kangur, guitarist Eric "Cat Casino" Bäckman, and drummer Marcus “Nitro" Johansson. They released their debut studio album “Synthetic Generation” in 2002.
Their second studio album “Termination Bliss” arrived in 2006. Three years later, they dropped their third studio album “Night Electric Night” in 2009. Their fourth studio album “The Perfect Cult” was issued in 2014. The band went on tour in 2019, performing in different festivals including Wacken Open Air, M’era Luna Festival, and Graspop Metal Meeting. In January 2023, the band released its fifth and latest studio album “Everything Destroys You”. In 2007, the band won the Golden God Award in the category of Best Newcomers.
