Debbie Gibson, born Deborah Ann Gibson on August the 31st 1970 in New York City is an American actress, record producer, singer and songwriter. Her debut release came with the release of the song Only In My Dreams, which Gibson had used as a demo song in 1986 to get the attention of record labels. The song was an immediate hit and Gibson found game with additional songs such as Shake Your Love, all contained in her debut album Out of the Blue.
Immediately following the immense success of her debut album, Gibson followed this up with her second album Electric Youth, which remained at the number on position within the United States for five weeks, with nine albums released thus far, Gibson has also won many accolades, including the New York Music Awards and People’s Choice Awards.
