Deborah Ann Woll is an American actress born in 1985 in Brooklyn, New York. She trained at the University of Southern Carolina School of Dramatic Arts, and in 2007 she had her first guest-starring role in the TV series “Life”, followed a year later by another guest-starring credit in “My Name Is Earl” and “The Mentalist” by CBS. Woll’s breakthrough came with her portrayal of Jessica Hamby in the fantasy drama “True Blood” by HBO, winning a collective Best Cast prize at the 2009 Satellite Awards. The actress also joined the cast of Netflix’s “Daredevil” from 2015 to 2018, and kept on with superhero-related series with roles in “The Defenders” (2017) and “The Punisher” (2017). Woll has also taken part in Hollywood films like “Mothers Day” (2010), “Catch 44” (2011), “Ruby Sparks” (2012), and “Escape Room” (2019).
