Decapitated Bio
Decapitated is a Polish death metal band formed in 1996 in Krosno, Poland. The current member of the band are Rafal “Rasta” Piotrowski on vocals, Waclaw “Vogg” Kieltyka on guitars, and Hubert Wiecek on bass guitar. The band initially became popular in the underground music scene and contributed to the sound of the modern death metal genre. In 1997 and 1998 they released the demos Cemeterial Gardens and The Eye of Horus. In 2000 they were signed to the label Earache Records, a subsidiary of Wicked World, and released their debut studio album titled Winds of Creation. They have since released the albums Nihility, The Negotiation, Organic Hallucinosis, Carnival is Forever, Blood Mantra, and Anticult. They have also released a compilation album, a split album, and a video album.
