Deepika Padukone Bio
Deepika Padukone is an Indian film actress born in Copenhagen, Denmark on January 5, 1986. She is the highest paid actress in India and has won many awards for her roles in films. Padukone played competitive badminton as a kid and throughout her school years. In 2004 she started a career modeling and in 2005 made her runway debut at the Lakme Fashion Week. She won Model of the Year at the Kingfisher Fashion Awards. After gaining success as a model she started getting offers for acting roles. In 2006 she made her debut acting role in the romantic comedy film Aishwarya. She continued landing roles in the films Om Shanti Om, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Chandni Chowk To China, Love Aaj Kal, Housefull, Lafangey Parindey, Break Ke Baad, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, Aarakshan, and many more. In 2017 she made her debut in a Hollywood film in the movie XXX: Return of Xander Cage. Throughout her career she has been nominated for a number of awards and has won nine Screen Awards, six Zee Cine Awards, three Stardust Awards, two Producer Guild Film Awards among others.
