Deichkind Bio
Hailing from Hamburg, Germany, Deichkind is a German band that performs electropunk and rock music. The makeup of the band has changed throughout the years, but it currently consists of Philipp “Kryptik Joe” Grütering, Henning “DJ Phono” Besser, Sebastian “Porky” Dürre, and Roland “Roy” Knauf.
Deichkind was formed in 1997, and in 2000, they released their debut studio project Bitte ziehen Sie durch. Their discography now includes the hit singles Selber machen lassen, Like mich am Arsch, Bück dich hoch, Bon Voyage featuring Nina, Luftbahn, So’ne Musik, and the albums Wer sagt denn das, Niveau weshalb warum, and Befehl von ganz unten.
