Deicide Bio

Deicide is a band from Tampa, Florida. The band was formed in 1987 and its members include drummer Steve Asheim, bassist/lead vocalist Glen Benton, guitarist/backing vocalist Kevin Quirion, and guitarist/backing vocalist Taylor Nordberg. They released their debut self-titled album in 1990 via Roadrunner Records. Their second studio album “Legion” arrived in 1992. The album was a huge success, receiving positive reviews from many people.

Their third studio album “Once Upon the Cross” was released in 1995, followed by the fourth album “Serpents of the Light” in 1997. Other albums released by the band include “In Torment in Hell” in 2001, “Scars of the Crucifix” in 2004, “The Stench of Redemption” in 2006, “Till Death Do Us Part”, “To Hell with God”, and “In the Mind of Evil”. The band has gone on tour in many countries around the world, including the Netherlands, the United States, and others.
