Del Water Gap Bio

Del Water Gap is a solo project that was formed in 2012 in Brooklyn, New York, United States. The project was formed by songwriter and producer S. Holden Jaffe who is a native of Connecticut. He attended NYU’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music in 2012. Del Water Gap dropped his eponymous debut EP in 2012 following its formation. Subsequent self-released efforts followed including Sleeping (2014) and 1 (646) 943 2672 (2017). The latter featured the hit single High Tops. Jaffe’s major-label debut arrived in 2019 in the release Don’t Get Dark. The EP was featured in NPR’s All Songs Considered which won Jaffe a string of shows in New York and Los Angeles. He later joined the Mom + Pop roster in 2020 releasing Ode to a Conversation Stuck in Your Throat. He later teamed up with producer Claud in the same year to release the single My Body, and other solo tracks including Sorry I Am and Hurting Kid.
