Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, also known as Demi-Leigh Tebow as it is her married name, is a Sudafrican model and winner of the Miss Universe pageant in 2017. She was born on the 28th of June, 1995, in Sedgefield, South Africa. She studied business management and entrepreneurship at the North-West University while working part-time as a model. She was signed to Boss Models and other agencies like Vision Management Cape Town. She won the Miss South Africa 2017 beauty contest a few days after she graduated from university and she began her pageantry career. She represented South Africa in the 2017 Miss Universe contest which was held in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S. She won the competition and she was crowned Miss Universe by Iris Mittenaere, Miss Universe 2016.
