Demon Hunter Bio

Demon Hunter is a Christian metal band that formed in 2000. Originally from Seattle, Washington, brothers Don Clark and Ryan Clark founded the band that was originally titled The Clarks. Demon Hunter’s first album was a self-titled release in 2002 through Tooth and Nail Records. Their second album arrived in 2004 titled ‘Summer of Darkness’ with their single ‘My Heartstrings Come Undone’ which became part of the soundtrack for Resident Evil: Apocalypse. Their 2005 album, ‘Triptych’ brought the band to place on the Billboard Top 200 followed by ‘Storm the Gates of Hell’ which landed on number 3 on the Christian charts. As their popularity began to rise, the band released two concerts albums, ’45 Days’ and ‘Live in Nashville’ in 2008 which preceded their sixth album, ‘True Defiance’ in 2012. ‘True Defiance’ found success in the Christian community, landing at number two on the Top Christian Albums Chart and number 36 on the Billboard 200. In 2017, Demon Hunter released their eight album, ‘Outlive’ which was followed by a double album project titled ‘War and Peace’. The band is known to defy genre expectations and is recognized in the American metal music and Christian music industry.
