Denise Lewis Bio

Denise Lewis OBE is an English retired track and field athlete sports presenter who competed in heptathlon events. She was born in West Bromwich, England, on August 27, 1972.

Denise began her heptathlon career in the early 1990s, but she began gaining recognition later that decade when she won multiple gold and silver medals at international events. Her career highlights include winning two gold medals at the Commonwealth Games, a gold and silver medal at the European Cup, gold at the European Championships, two silver medals at the World Championships, and gold at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
