Dennis Miller is an American talk show host, actor, political commentator, sports commentator, and comedian born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on November 3, 1953. He started his comedy career performing at open-mic nights making his debut at the Oak’s Lounge on Sleepy Hollow Road in Castle Shannon. He moved to New York to further his comedy career. In 1980 he was offered a job at the television station KDKA-TV. In 1985 he became a member on the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live and was on the show until 1991. After leaving Saturday Night Live he started hosting the late-night talk show The Dennis Miller Show in 1992 and in 1994 started hosting Dennis Miller Live on HBO. He started providing commentary on the Fox News show Hannity & Colmes. He has released a number of comedy specials, including Mr. Miller Goes to Washington, The Earth Day Special, Black & White, The Raw Feed, The Big Speech, America 180 and more. In 1990 he made his acting debut in the film Madhouse and has since had roles in the films and shows Disclosure, Joe Dirt, What Happens in Vegas, Boston Public, Murder at 1600, Space Ghost Coast to Coast and others.
