Derek Theler is an actor and model born on October 29, 1986, in Alaska, United States. He started acting in 2009 and appeared in several minor roles in shows like The Middle and Cougar Town. He landed his first major role when he was cast as Danny Wheeler in the television series, Baby Daddy, a role he played from 2012 to 2017. His performance earned him two nominations at the 2013 and 2016 Teen Choice Awards. In 2020, Theler became one of the main cast of the television series, 68 Whiskey. Theler guest-starred in Amazon’s American Gods, playing the character Donar the Great opposite of Ian McShane’s Mr. Wednesday. He also has guested on shows like Dollface, Wayne, and American Housewife. Outside of his television career, Theler starred in the film How Sarah Got Her Wings with Lindsey Gort and Shark Killer with Erica Cerra.
