Des Clarke is a TV personality and comedian born on 13th January 1981 in Glasgow, Scotland. He is the current presenter for Heart Scotland’s “Heart Drivetime” which airs on weekdays from 4pm to 7pm. He is also a columnist on the Daily Record and presents the topical quiz show “Breaking the News” on BBC Radio Scotland. Clarke is the long-running presenter of the children’s TV show “SMTV Live,” which has been airing since December 2003. He has also been the host of Sky 1’s “Whatever,” and Discover’s “Invention SOS.” He has also made appearances on “Live Floor Show” on BBC One and “World Cup’s Most Shocking Moments” on BBC Two. In 2014, he was part of the panel on CBBC’s “The Dog Ate My Homework.” He also regularly appears as a warm-up comedian for BBC Scotland.
