Desmond Bane Bio
Desmond Bane is a professional basketball player who currently plays for the Memphis Grizzlies of the NBA (National Basketball Association). Born on 25th June 1998 in Richmond, Indiana, United States, Bane played high school basketball for Seton Catholic High School. He had an impressive career over the four years he was in high school. In May 2016, he committed to play for TCU Horned Frogs men’s basketball team. He spent four years will the college team, where he had a highly successful career.
Bane started his professional career with Boston Celtics after being selected (30th overall pick) in the 2020 NBA draft. He was traded to Memphis Grizzlies, who announced they had signed him in November 2020. He participated in the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend and won the Clorox Clutch Challenge. In April 2022, he helped his team eliminate Minnesota Timberwolves by scoring 23 points.
