Detroit Barbie, the Detroit princess, was born there and was raised there until she relocated to Canton, Ohio. Her songs are inspired by her experiences as a former stripper. She sees herself as a performer and enjoys dancing and entertaining. She grew up admiring Little Kim! She loved Barbie dolls growing up. She was enamored with all things Dante and Barbie when she was old enough to dress herself and wear heels. She even came to appreciate Nicki Minaj for introducing a Barbie universe to the hip-hop scene. Her best friend inspired her to become a rapper. It was a simple transition into artistry after she realized she was a dope rapper. She released "that ain't my thot," a single starring FL Dusa.
