American professional basketball player, Diamond DeShields was born on 5th March 1995 in West Palm Beach, Florida. She played for three state championships as part of the Norcross High School team. In her freshman year, she played guard for the women’s basketball team at the University of North Carolina. She scored 648 points, setting an Atlantic Coast Conference record as a freshman. Following that, she transferred to the University of Tennessee and played for the Tennessee Lady Volunteers Basketball team. After leading the Lady Vols with a score of 17.4 points per game, she was chosen for the first team of the All-Southeastern Conference. She started her career in Turkey with the Turkish Super League’s Cukurova Basketbol. In the 2018 WNBA All-Star draft, she was the third pick of the Chicago Sky. In the 2019 Sophmore season, she was named a WNBA All-Star. In 2021, she started for Chicago Sku and led the team to the WNBA Finals.
