Diamond Platnumz Bio
Naseeb Abdul Juma Issack, known as Diamond Platnumz, is a singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, and businessman born in Tandale, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on October 2, 1989. His genres of music include bongo, Flava, Afro-pop, and soukous. He released his debut album, Kamwambie, in 2010. Between 2010 and 2014, he won fifteen awards at the Tanzania Music Awards.
His second album, Lala Salama, followed in 2012. Diamond released A Boy From Tandale on March 14, 2018. His collaboration with Davido earned him a nomination at the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards. His popular songs include African Beauty, Jugni, and Inama.
Diamond is the founder and CEO of WCB Wasafi and Zoom Extra. He manages Wasafi TV and Wasafi FM. Diamond is a brand ambassador for Pepsi Tanzania and Airtel Tanzania.
