Diane Keaton, born Diane Hill on January the 5th 1946 in California and is an American actress, director and producer. The actresses career began in 1968 with various stage productions and she became a well known actress with her appearance as Kay Adams-Corleone in The Godfather and went on to appear in Woody Allen films such as Play it Again Sam, Sleeper, Love and Death and most notably, Annie Hall in 1977, where she portrayed the titular character and won an Academy Award for her work.
Established as both a comedic and dramatic actress, she went on to portray dramatic roles in films such as Something’s Gotta Give and Marvin’s Room. With a career that has spanned decades, the actress continues to work in acclaimed film such as 2005’s The Family Stone where she portrays Sybil Stone, 2014’s 5 Flights Up as Ruth and well as the ensemble comedy, Love the Coopers as Charlotte Cooper.
