DiDi Richards Bio
Deauzya “DiDi” Richards was born on 8th February 1999 in Houston, Texas. She is a professional Women’s National Basketball Association player. She played for the Cypress Ranch team in high school and transferred to Baylor Lady Bears in her college years. She had her breakout season in her sophomore year, where she started all 38 games and led the Lady Bears to a national championship. She is known for her defense tactics and was also named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. She made her mark as one of the best on-ball defenders in the country after she bagged the National Defensive Player of the Year Award from the WBCA and Naismith. In the 2021 WNBA Draft, she was selected by New York Liberty in the shooting guard position. In 2021, she was named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team.
