Di’ja, born Hadiza Blell, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, performer, and fashion designer currently based in Washington, D.C. Prior to working on a career in music, she obtained a double degree in Psychology and Biology. Her official start in the music industry came in 2008, when she won the Beat Music Award for ‘Best New Artist.’ Shortly after, she released her first official single, “Rock Steady.”
