Diljott Bio

Diljott (born December 20, 1993 in Patiala, Punjab, India) is an Indian actress, singer, and dancer. She is most renowned for her roles in the Punjabi entertainment industry. Diljott learned to act from Anupam Kher’s Acting School, Mumbai. She is also a trained Kathak, western, and folk dancer.

She has been featured in advertisements for clothing brands and magazine covers including Hindustan Petroleum, Amartex Suitings, Paislei, and Larsen & Toubro. She was also featured in the 2014 song “Patiala Peg” alongside Diljit Dosanjh and later in Satinder Sartaaj’s song ”Matwaliye” in 2020.

In 2014, Diljott won the “New Promising face of Punjabi Cinema” and Recognition of talent and creativity awards. Also in 2014, she made her Punjabi film debut in ‘Idiot Boys’ by Catrack Entertainment. She has also acted in other movies including Teshan (2016), Yaar Annmulle 2 (2017), and Khatre Da Ghuggu.

In 2017, Diljott released her debut single “Tere Rang”. In 2018, she appeared in the Hollywood film ”5 Weddings,” directed and produced by Namrata Singh Gujral. Her song was used in the movie 5 Weddings. Besides acting and singing, Diljott is also a philanthropist and a social worker. She founded NGO Dream Buds Foundation.
