Dillon Chase is an American rapper and gospel singer. He was born in October 1985, in Ada, Oklahoma. Chase started rapping while studying in high school, as a way to cope with a difficult childhood. The lyrics he wrote often spoke of the reality of drug abuse and dealing with broken families. At age 19, his life turned around, when he converted to Christianism, and started learning about the gospel. His music reflected that change, especially in the lyrics, which radically changed. In 2006, he released his debut album “The Light”. The next year, he was invited by Lecrae and Sho Baraka to join the 116 Clique project on the album “13 Letters”. He collaborated with the song “Take Em Back”. The album “13 Letters” was a major success and it reached number 29 on the Billboard Christian Albums Chart. In 2011, he released his second album “Weak” through the Stand Out Ministries series. He released three more albums since, “BDFFRNT” in 2014, “Speak Up Vol.3” in 2016 and “Drifted” on the next year.
