Dilly Dally Bio
Dilly Dally is an alternative dup made up of Liz Ball and Katie Monks in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The group was formed in 2009. They started by playing in various independent venues in the country. Dilly Dally’s debut single “Next Gold” was released in 2014 and the follow up “Candy Mountain” appeared in the same year. The group’s debut album, Sore, was pushed out the next year. Some of the songs from the album are Desire, Purple Rage, Snake Head, and Ballin Chain.
The album received a nomination for the Juno Awards Alternative Album of the Year in 2017. It has also been longlisted for the Polaris Prize.
In 2018, the duo released another album, Heaven, which contains nine songs including Sober Motel and I Feel Free.
