Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike Bio
Brothers Dimitri and Michael Thivaios teamed up when they were young teenagers to share their love of music and production, forming the DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike in 2007. Born in the 1980s in Belgium, the two left their home country to begin a European tour, and have lived in Mallorca, Greece, and Ibiza. The latter afforded them the recognition they needed, as they achieved residency in the clubs Privilege and Space. The brothers’ debut release was entitled “Cocaine / Elvissa 2007”, yet they gained attention for their remix of the song “Work that Body”.
In 2011, the brothers put out the single “The Way We See the World” with Afrojack and Nervo, and created the song used as the anthem for the festival Tomorrowland in 2012. Their 2013 release of “Project T” charted highly in Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland.
