Dina Asher-Smith, born Geraldina Asher-Smith, is a British runner specializing in sprinting who was born on December 4, 1995, in Orpington, London. She is currently the fastest woman in Britain’s history. She won the 200 meters title at the 2013 European Junior and the 100 meters title at the 2014 World Junior. In 2015 she became the first woman in history to run the 100 meters in under 11 seconds. At the 2019 World Championships, she was able to win the gold medal in 200 meters and silver in both 100 meters and 4x100 meters relay. She has also participated in the Olympic Games, where she won bronze in 4x100 meters relay in both the 2016 Rio Olympic and 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Her personal best marks are at 10.83 seconds in 100 meters and 21.88 seconds in 200 meters.
