Dispatch is an American indie/roots band formed in 1996 in Middlebury, Vermont. The members of the band are Chad Urmston on Vocals, guitar, bass and percussion, Pete Francis Heimbold on vocals, bass, and guitar, and Brad Corrigan on vocals, drums, guitar, percussion, and harmonica. The band started under the name One Fell Swoop in 1996, but quickly changed it to their current name, Dispatch. In 1996 they released their debut studio album titled Silent Steeples with the labels Bomber and Foundations. They have since released the albums Bang Bang, Four-Day Trials, Who Are We Living For?, Circles Around the Sun, America, Location 12, and Location 13. They have also released two EPs and four live albums. The band has been involved in several non-profits, including the Elias Fund in 2005, The Dispatch Foundation in 2007, and Amplifying Education. In 2005 a documentary was made about the band titled last Dispatch.
