Distruction Boyz Bio
Distruction Boyz is a Gqom music duo formed in Durban, South Africa in 2015. The members of the duo are Thobani “Que” Mgobhozi and Zipho “Goldmax” Mthembu. The duo formed after the two members ran into each other frequently while playing the same gigs. They liked each others style and decided to team up to form the Distruction Boyz. They released their debut single in 2016 titled “Ngoma Yam” featuring Danger and Efelow. In 2017 they released the single “Omunye” featuring Benny Maverick and Dladla Mshunqisi. The song charted at number one in South Africa and was certified gold by the RiSA. They followed it up with the release of her debut studio album titled Gqom Is The Future. The album was also certified gold by the RiSA in South Africa. In 2018 they released their second studio album titled It Was All A Dream.
