Dizzy is a Canadian pop band that was formed in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The founding members of the band include vocalist Katie Munshaw, and then Charlie Spencer, Alex Spencer, and Mackenzie Spencer who are instrumentalists.
The band’s debut album Baby Teeth dropped in 2018 and the next year it won the Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2019. The album was also promoted with concert tours in Canada, the United States, and Europe as it included some of their most popular singles like Swim, Pretty Thing, and Backstroke. The single Sunflower appeared in February 2020 just before the band’s sophomore full-length effort The Sun and Her Scorch. The album also received a Juno Award nomination for Alternative Album of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2021.
