DJ ASHBA Bio

Dj ASHBA is an American musician, songwriter, record producer, and graphic designer born in Monticello, Indiana on November 10, 1972. He is currently the lead guitarist for the band Sixx:A.M.. He has also worked with the bands Beautiful Creatures, BulletBoys, and Guns N’ Roses and the artists Marion Raven, Neil Diamond, Aimee Allen, Drowning Pool, and Motley Crue. He started learning piano from a young age and performed in his first piano recital at five years old. He later taught himself how to play the drums and guitar. He joined the group Barracuda and toured with them for two years before releasing his debut instrumental album titled Addiction to the Friction. He joined the band BulletBoys in 1998 and was with them until 1999. He started the band Beautiful Creatures in 1999 and in 2001 they released their self-titled debut album Beautiful Creatures. In 2002 he left the band and formed a solo band named ASHBA. In 2007 the band Sixx:A.M. was formed and they released their debut album The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack. They have since released the albums Life Is Beautiful, This Is Gonna Hurt, 7, Modern Day Vintage, Prayers for the Damned, and Prayers for the Blessed. In 2009 it was announced that Ashba would be the lead guitarist of Guns N’ Roses and he was with the band until 2015.
