Born in September 3, 1977, DJ Envy or legally known as Raashaun Casey, was born in Queens, New York. He learned his DJ skills from DJ Clue around the mid ‘90s. By 2000, he was able to make a name for himself and worked alongside big names like Jay-Z, L.O.X., and 50 Cent. He then joined the Desert Storm Records label, releasing “The Desert Storm Mixtape: Blok Party, Vol. 1.”
As DJ Envy rose to fame, he became considered to be a top mix tape gardener from New York. He also has his own production company by the name BLOK Entertainment where he served as the CEO and President. He also works as a host for “The Breakfast Club”, together with Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God.
