DJ Green Lantern Bio
Commonly referred to as “The Evil Genius”, James D’Agostino is known throughout the music industry as DJ Green Lantern. He was born in Rochester, New York, in 1975, and has since worked with some of the biggest names in music. In 2002, DJ Green Lantern was signed to Shady Records, the label owned by rapper Eminem, under which he released a three-part mixtape that would later be known as the Armageddon series. He was offered a slot on the New York radio station Hot 97, which he used as a platform to have rappers, such as D-Block, freestyle and make a name for themselves.
DJ Green Lantern went on to help Ludacris produce his single “Number One Spot”, and later, Immortal Technique’s single “Bin Laden”, both of which did extremely well in the United States. The talented DJ and producer was later offered in 2007 to host a show on Sirius Satellite Radio known as The Invasion, featured on the Hip-Hop Nation channel. He has since worked with Cassidy, Wiz Khalifa, Nas, Jay-Z, DJ Khaled, and Keyshia Cole.
