Dom Dolla Bio
Dominic Matheson (known by his stage moniker Dom Dolla) is an Australian DJ, music producer and artist who was born in 1992 in Australia. He is currently based in Melbourne.
Dom rose to fame when he dropped the hit single Take It in 2018. It was an international smash hit and skyrocketed his fame. He initially signed to the Sweat It Out label in 2015 and produced Go Freek’s 2015 Define. Some of his tracks like You and Love Like This gained traction in EDM circles while You generated a lot of remixes in 2016. He dropped the single Be Randy in 2017 featuring fellow producer Torren Foot. The track topped Australian charts as he followed it up with 2018’s Take It. San Frandisco appeared in 2019. As part of his famous track record, he was commissioned to remix for Hayden James, Dua Lipa, Rufus Du Sol, etc. He has also appeared on international festivals like Coachella.
In 2020 he collaborated with Sonny Fodera to drop the hit track Moving Blind which quickly accumulated millions of streams. He is also the winner of AIR Awards of 2020 Best Independent Dance, Electronica or Club Single.
