Dominic David Rene Smith is a professional MLB player born on June 15, 1995, in Los Angeles, California, USA. He founded Baseball Generations with Ron Miller and Tim Ravare to offer guidance and player development to young and disadvantaged baseball players. The organization has received support from J.P. Crawford, Tim Anderson, Jack Flaherty, Lucas Giolito, and Aaron Hicks.
Dominic won the Sterling Award in 2013, 2015, and 2016. In 2015, he was named to the Arizona Fall League Rising Stars team, the Florida State League postseason All-Star team, and the Florida State League's Player of the Year. In 2017, he was promoted from Las Vegas (AAA) of the Pacific Coast League and was named the Sterling Organizational Minor League Player of the Year.
The same year, Dominic joined the New York Mets. He has a batting average of .246, 46 home runs, and 179 runs batted in. In 2021, he had his first multi-homer game and hit his second career grand slam.
