Dominic Thiem Bio
Dominic Thiem is an Austrian pro tennis player born in Wiener Neustadt in 1993. Playing the junior category, he was soon ranked as the world’s #2, earning him a 2011 ascension to the professional tier. The athlete was a finalist in 2014’s ATP league and became a champion for that same league in 2015. In 2016 he managed to beat Tennis superstars Rafael Nadal and David Ferrer, securing the 7th spot on the World’s rankings. Two years later the young athlete rose to the 4th position and became a finalist in the French Open. In 2020, Thiem won the title for the U.S. Grand Slam in a match against Alexander Zverev, and also became a finalist in the Australia Open tournament.
