Dominique Fishback is an American actress and playwright best known for her work in television and film. She was born in New York City, New York, United States, on March 22, 1991. She developed an interest in acting at a young age, and she graduated from Pace University with a bachelor’s degree in Theater. Dominique made a name for herself in the theatre scene when she played twenty-two characters in her off-Broadway play Subverted. She began her screen acting career in the early 2010s with appearances in the TV series The Knick, the Affair, and Blue Bloods. She stars in the TV series The Deuce alongside James Franco, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., and Margarita Levieva. Her filmography includes Judas and the Black Messiah, Night Comes On, Project Power, and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. For her work in the film Judas and the Black Messiah, Dominique was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the BAFTA Awards, Best Acting Ensemble at the Critics' Choice Awards, and she won an award at the African-American Film Critics Association for Best Supporting Actress.
