Don Jazzy Bio
Michael Collins Ajereh, better known by his moniker Don Jazzy, is a Nigerian-based producer, singer-songwriter, and musician. He has worked as Chief Executive at Mo’Hits Records and Mavin Records, as well as working as a producer at Very Good Beats. During his extensive career, Don Jazzy has produced for big names, like: Dr. Sid, D’Prince, Jay Z, Kanye West, Beyonce, and Tiwa Savage.
Don Jazzy has won awards for Best Producer of The Year at the Nigeria Music Awards in 2006, and the Nigerian Entertainment Awards in 2007. He also won three awards at the Headies – two in 2011, and one in 2014. As a musician, Don Jazzy has recorded three albums – No Long Thing, Rundown/Funk You UP, and Curriculum Vitae.
