William Omar Landrón Rivera was born on February 10, 1978 in Puerto Rico. He is a reggaeton singer, songwriter, and actor. He is known by his popular stage name, Don Omar. However, he goes by many other names such El Rey or King of Kings of Reggaeton Music. He created his first solo album The Last Don with the aid of Héctor Delgado. Don Omar has collaborated with Tego Calderón, Lucenzo, Wisin & Yandel, Aventura and Daddy Yankee.
Omar did both studios and live version of his album which sold over one million copies. His album was awarded Latin Pop Album of the Year award (2013) and New Artist & Latin Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year Award by the Billboard Latin Music Awards.
Don Omar was also awarded the Billboard Latin Music Award for Reggaeton Album of the Year for his second album, King of Kings.
