Donny van de Beek (born 18 April 1997) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League side Everton and the Netherlands national team on loan from Manchester United.
In 2008, he joined the Ajax academy. In a UEFA Europa League encounter against Celtic in 2015, Van de Beek made his competitive debut for the club. Ajax reached the Europa League Final in the 2016–17 season, but were defeated by Manchester United.
Van de Beek established himself as a crucial member of Ajax's starting eleven throughout the 2017–18 season. Following Ajax's semi-final appearance in the UEFA Champions League in 2018–19, Van de Beek was named to a 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d'Or.
