Donovan Mitchell Bio
Donovan Mitchell is an American professional basketball player born in Elmsford, New York on September 7, 1996. He is currently a shooting guard for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association. He played basketball in high school at Canterbury School in New Milford, Connecticut and Brewer Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. He went on to play college basketball at the University of Louisville and played there from 2015 to 2017. In 2017 he was drafted by the Denver Nuggets 13th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft. He was immediately traded to the Utah Jazz and signed a four-year rookie contract on July 5, 2017. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First team in his rookie season and won the Slam Dunk Contest in 2018. He has appeared on the cover of SLAM Magazine and starred in a documentary titled Rookie on the Rise.
