Angus Stone is an Australian songwriter and singer more popularly known as Dope Lemon or Lady of the Sunshine. Born on 27 April 1986, the singer created a folk and indie pop group, Angus & Julia Stone, with his sister Julia Stone. Together with his sister, they’ve released four studio albums A Book Like This in 2007, Down the Way in 2010, Angus & Julia Stone in 2014, and Snow in 2017. The group went on to win 5 awards at the ARIA music awards for the song Big Jet Plane from the album Angus & Julia Stone.
In 2016, he released his Dope Lemon debut album as a soloist named Honey Bones. On this album, he collaborated with Elliott Hammond and Rohin Brown. Dope Lemon hasn’t won any major awards but has been nominated for Best Male Artist and Best Blues & Roots Album at the 2012 ARIA Music Awards for his second album Broken Brights under his pseudonym Lady of the Sunshine.
