Doris Helen Kearns Goodwin is an American TV personality, political commentator, historian, and journalist best known for her work in television. She was born in New York City, New York, United States, on January 4, 1943.
Doris has had an extensive career in journalism that has seen her work in political news, history, and sports journalism. She has made several appearances on the TV shows Late Show with David Letterman, American Experience, Baseball, The Roosevelts: An Intimate History, Charlie Rose, Face the Nation, Meet the Press, CBS This Morning, and Morning Joe, which features Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and Willie Geist.
