Downlink Bio
Downlink is the stage name of the Canadian electronic music producer and DJ Sean Casavant. He is from Kelowna, Canada and is best known for his songs “Ignition”, “Robo Kitty”, and “Existence VIP.” He had a love for music from a young age and growing up was interested in grunge music and nu-metal music. In 2001 he started producing drum and bass and in 2006 was producing dubstep. Around that same time he started collaborating with Datsik and Excision. In 2012 he formed the music group Destroid with Excision and KJ Sawka from Pendulum. The group has released a studio album, a compilation album, and a number of singles with the labels OWSLA, mau5trap, and Rottun. They have performed at festivals like Lost Lands, Moonrise Festival, Ultra Music Festival, Orion Festival and others.
