Dr Phunk Bio
Jordy Buijs, also known as Dr Phunk, is a Dutch DJ and music producer born November 4, 1989, in Oud Gastel, Netherlands. In his teen years, Dr Phunk attended techno and house parties, which sparked his interest in the DJ scene and music production. After he acquired enough DJ and music knowledge, he released his first track which was signed by FL Studio. In the years from 2011, he performed on every major hardstyle festival in Europe such as Defqon, Decibel, and Tomorrowland (several times). In the summer of 2016, before releasing his first album Phunked Up (2016), he met Hardwell at a festival near his hometown, in Breda. After Dr Phunk remixed Apollo, one of Hardwell's hit songs, they started working together. Creatures of the Night, Echo, and Power are their first remixes that are not released but only played on shows. Dr Phunk had his biggest DJ appearance to date at the Electric Daisy Carnival, in Las Vegas 2018.
