Drake Bell Bio

Drake Bell is an American actor who started as a child performer starting at age five in a TV commercial for Whirlpool brand appliances. He is best known for his roles in the TV series “The Amanda Show,” “Drake & Josh,” and doing voice acting in the animated TV series “Ultimate Spider-Man” as the lead role. His voice acting work is extensive enough that he’s become a fixture of other animated franchises such as “ The Fairly OddParents.”

Drake Bell also launched a small music career based on his co-starring in the 2001 film “Chasing Destiny” with the band The Who’s Roger Daltrey; Bell received private guitar lessons from Daltrey in the context of his role. He has integrated his guitar-playing into his role in “Drake & Josh” and is actually signed to a Universal record contract, having released three albums. He has also won awards including Young Artist Awards, Blimp Awards, and an ASCAP Award.
