Drowners Bio
Drowners is an English indie rock band that formed in 2011. Now based in New York, the band formed In New York consisting of band members Matthew Hitt on lead vocals and guitar, Eric Lee Snyder on the bass, Jack Ridley III on lead guitar and Daniel Jacobs on the drums. In 2013, the band released their first EP titled ‘Between Us Girls’ through English record label, Birthday Records. In the same year, the band signed to the Frenchkiss label and released a self titled album in 2014. Rollingstone has given the band praise free there is song, “Luv, Hold Me Down’ off their ‘Downers’ album which has amassed over 1 million plays on Spotify. After the release of their self titled album, the post-punk band went on the first European tour and open for same as rock bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Foals and The Vaccines. The Drowners’ latest work is an album titled ‘On Desire’ which was released in 2016.
