Eduarda Bittencourt Simes (born October 8, 1987) is a Brazilian singer and songwriter better known as Duda Beat (stylized in all caps as DUDA BEAT).
Eduarda Bittencourt Simes was born in Recife, the capital of the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, on October 8, 1987. Suyenne Bittencourt and Tárciso Simes are her parents.
After initially going by the stage name "Duda Bitt," the artist changed her name to Duda Beat in honor of the countercultural manguebeat movement.
In 2018, she received the ACPA Breakthrough Artist Award, and her debut album Sinto Muito was named one of Rolling Stone Brasil's top 50 Brazilian albums of the year.
