England native Duke Dumont was born Adam Dyment on August 27, 1982, and his big break came in the early 2000s when he met successful producer Switch, who had a hand in the production of songs by artists such as M.I.A. and Beyoncé. It was that year that Duke Dumont released his debut EP titled Regality EP through Turbo Recordings, and the next year, he followed it with the Dominion Dubs EP. In 2012, his remixes were featured on BBC Radio 1, namely his remix of the track “Your Drums, Your Love” by AlunaGeorge. His first charting song was “Need U (100%)”, which went to the top of the UK Singles Chart. Duke Dumont would later released a track titled “Hold On” in the summer of 2013. The next year, he released the single “I Got U” featuring Jax Jones, which went to the #1 slot in the UK as well as on the US Dance Club charts.
